This is art of Axis Powers Hetalia, which is some kinda webcomic this japanese dude did a while back where he drew the countries of the world as people. Mostly blonde bishounen 20-year olds that look like they're 13. But some of them actually don't look like that, which is nice.
Shan suggested I draw North Cyprus from Hetalia for my next daily sketch, so I decided to draw him getting a piggy back ride from Turkey while Greece and real Cyprus glare from afar. Apparently no one bothers to realize North Cyprus isn't really a country (except to Turkey) and that there is a normal Cyprus that is not under Turkish control. So they just draw a bunch of kawaii desu drawings of N. Cyprus being the son of Greece and Turkey, which he wouldn't be, and ignore the fact that it's not very kawaii desu of Turkey to invade and start a bloody war over Cyprus in the first place.
